18/11/07 Sunday:
I woke up from my slumber with dreams of scoring for Manchester United ......... of course I was watching GOAL II last night wat did you expect from me. Anyway I checked my watch and it was 8!!! :O
I woke up Durvesh and he is like haan ho jaayega. So quickly dressing up we left at around 8.30 or 8.45, w/o breakfast and of course zero preparation ........ I don't owe you an explanation now buzz off!!! Well we were travelling at a decent speed to get to the centre ..... there was only one problem we didn't know where it was!!! So we are on NH-4 (or 5 who cares anyway) and we decide to follow a board which said Kothrud with an arrow (that was where my centre was apparently) There was this car standing on the right side but he allowed us to go from his left, but out of the corner of my eye i noticed a Qualis going thru the same road at high speed. I yelled out CAREFUL!!! and then it happened ............... Don't worry no one died and only after fighting with a few people (who apparently were not even involved in the accident ..... this is India m'boy) I noticed a few scratches on my right leg.
Anyway we moved on and after asking a few directions We reached the place Law College ........ phew finally .......... except for one tiny meeny issue ......... My centre was supposedly at New Law College which according to the direction of the watchman was on the other side of the mountain (DAMN!! they don't even give directions properly in this country!)Durvesh seemed down and out ..... and i thought what to say now. "Lets go and have breakfast then lets move for Mumbai" :D Then too he seemed determined to atleast see the place, I said what the heck it was 9.35 already. So we moved about and following a guy who was going to give CAT stumbled upon BVPU Campus which had New Law College and it was 9.50 already!!!! There I was, the guy who didn't even want to give the exam suddenly scrambling my bags and running as if my life depended on it!
Well, you sometimes get the feeling life just wants to make fun of you ....... just for the heck of it, well this was one such day. There I am running from one building (which was the Management building) to another (New Law College .... finally!!) with my backpack and my 3 day luggage for home. I saw the seating arrangement ....... 6th floor. Well the injuries from the accident also didn't help much. I ran and ran and ran and ........ phew!!! finally i was there at 9.58 shoving the hall ticket in the hands of the examiner (I swear i would have yelled if he wouldn't have let me in!) getting all my stuff out, and finally i was there at my seat. A sense of glory filled me as if won a marathon or something. The paper came and went and i was already thinking about home after such a dramatic 5 hours!!
Attended the wedding in the evening again slightly late. Well the guests were leaving when i reached. Of course no one reaches for a wedding at 10 pm in the night!!! Finally i ate something for the first time since the vada pav in the afternoon. After all the fun with my cousins and all ....... I was off to a well deserved sleep :)

Comedy Of Errors .....................
Well let me start by giving a background .......... I needed to go to Pune to give my CAT exam (cmon ........... I did not ask for the center there now!) and then had to attend my cousin's wedding in the evening the same day (18/11/07, Sunday).
16/11/07, Friday:
I am in my cubicle waiting for the watch to hit 6. Basically that meant I could go to the foodcourt with my friends Hetal, Reeti and Upamanyu since Hets and Reetz had gone for some Salsa classes. Now you know sometimes you just feel that you want to something to go wrong ........... just to have some sort of an adventure you know. Well, something like that happened to me. At 6.03 pm, I realised that I had forgotten my hall ticket at home. The bus was due at 7 pm and it takes 20 mins one way to go home from office one way.
So I called up Upam and ran towards the gate. Sweat was running from head to toe, well it was mostly because of all the running I had done with my bags than with the fear of missing the bus. If you ask me if I missed the bus I would have happily gone home, atleast I would have an excuse to miss the test. Anyway Upam rode his bike to the limits twisting and twirling through the corners. It was definitely have given Valentino Rossi a huge complex. Apart from the fact that all this was happenening at 40 km/hr or slower it was all ok. Well finally I reached home ran upstairs to pick up the hall ticket (I was actually trying to remember where it was all through the journey) and at home I see no lock. I wondered who came home so early and then to my horror I remembered that my friend Gaurav was snoozing at home all this while. Well no time to call him up and get my hall ticket now I guess so I simply ran inside and outside, I remember hearing muffled voices of Gaurav and Sneha (my other friend/neighbour whose parents had come) wishing me luck. Well then caught a rick which was easily beating Upam's top speed (which went upto 50 if I remember :) ......... Upam is gonna whack me when he reads this :)) and I reached the stop and the bus on time. Phew!!
17/11/07 Saturday:
You've heard the phrase "Where everything has to go wrong, nothing goes right." (Well if you haven't you have now.) The bus scheduled to reach at 6.30 reached before ............... 9.30! I had already called my friend Durvesh to pick me up. He had come with Swapnil's bike, wearing all gloves an all. The bike looked decent ........... well who knew what it was going to go thru in the next few days. Well did nothing much normal chit chat, called up Hyd and wish all good luck. Another of our friends Nikhil came over in the evening which meant more chit and chat and predominantly football. Finally watched Goal II at night (nice movie ............... must watch for a football fan .......... now does anyone have the CD of Goal I I haven't watched it!) Then I was off to sleep to be prepared for the big next day. Well I donno if it was big but it was definitely another adventure for me ....................
